Winner A Day Calendars
Benefitting the Residents of Holy Family Home,
Little Sisters of the Poor
“There is an appointed time for everything,
and a time for every affair under the heavens.”
(Ecclesiastes 3)
We invite you to join in the work of the Little
Sisters of the Poor by participating in our Winner a Day Calendar
fundraiser. If you are able, please also buy additional
calendars as gifts for relatives and friends, so that they too
may learn about our ministry.
There is a prize for each day of the year! Every
day during 2012 you will have a chance to win. Each calendar
raffle is $30, and you will receive a lovely calendar and a raffle
ticket. If you are unable to help financially, please support
us spiritually by praying for our Residents and for vocations
to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
Prizes:
$50 – 1st of the month
$100 – 5th and 15th of the month
$250 – 25th of the month
$20 – all other days
Winners will be notified by mail.
Dear Friends,
“Time” is such a precious commodity. How often
we say, “I wish this moment would last forever!” All
of us, including our Residents, experience different phases of
life – happy and sad moments, achievements and disappointments. We
are blessed to be able to accompany our Residents in their journey
during this chapter of their lives.
This year’s Winner-A-Day calendar is a pictorial reflection
on Ecclesiastes 3:1-14 and a look at our residents in these different “times”. Through
your prayers and gifts, you too support them in their journey!
We are most grateful to you for your outstanding efforts to assist
us in caring for our elderly Residents. We realize the sacrifices
you have endured to continue our work and presence in Philadelphia. Please
be assured of the daily prayers of the Sisters and Residents, because
with God, prayer has no special time – it is for all time! God
bless you and your loved ones.
