Dear Residents, Family Members and Responsible Parties,
This week we started the mandatory testing of our Residents and staff for the COVID-19 virus. One Resident tested positive, who showed no symptoms, and is now under isolation. One staff member, who showed no symptoms, also tested positive, and is at home under quarantine. Four more test results are pending.
Next week we will have another round of testing of all Residents and staff. Mandatory weekly testing will continue until we are 14 consecutive days clear of any positive cases.
During this time we continue to follow CDC guidelines. Residents will be quarantined to their rooms until we have no positive cases for 14 consecutive days. Staff members are wearing additional PPEs (personal protective equipment).
Unfortunately, this also means that during this quarantine period our Residents cannot have any visitors. We continue to offer setting up FaceTime calls and Zoom meetings with your loved ones. If you would like to set up a call, please reply to this e-mail email@example.com and provide us with your name, Resident’s name and your phone number.
Thank you all for your prayers and for your understanding during this challenging time. We are as disappointed as you must be with this little setback. As soon as we are able to resume Step 1 of our Reopening Implementation we will be sure to let you know. Let us continue to pray for each other, especially those who are sick with the virus, that God’s Divine Mercy will protect us and keep us healthy and that there may soon be an end to the coronavirus pandemic.
Mother Catherine, lsp
